Soft Romance in the South African Winelands ♥
Nic and Rebecca, from Johannesburg, met at the tender age of sixteen and it was love at first sight. Nic proposed at a romantic picnic and the pair exchanged vows earlier this year in a picturesque outdoor vineyard wedding ceremony. Their South African wedding celebration, held at the magnificent Molenvliet was decorated in hues of dusty pink, ivory and garden greens. Rebecca looked breathtaking with classic forties hair and make-up. She wore a spectacularly feathered Manuel Mota Primor gown by Pronovias which she fell in love because of the movement and feathers. The ladies in their bridal party was styled in dusty pink art deco inspired gowns in blush.
The couple gifted each guest with specially branded sunglasses, fun name tags and added their own flair to the day by having a street party for guests while they had their photos taken! We have Moira West to thank for these gorgeous images – and when I say gorgeous, I mean gorgeous!
Elegant Molenvliet Wineyard Wedding
Wedding Ceremony: We walked down the aisle to Cannon in D Minor which mashed up into the Beatles’ All you need is love. During the ceremony Nic’s sister read i carry your heart by e.e. cummings
Wedding Reception: Our seating chart was a decal placed on the floor as you entered the reception area. There were flowers and tea lights on each table in different coloured glasses with menus printed on ribbons which tied the napkins together. Fairy lights, chandeliers and wall lights illuminated the venue making feel very warm and welcoming.
Stand out Vendors: W collaboration’s Lize Mari made the day so special with extra attention to each detail and came up with fabulous ideas!
