McKenna and Klayton’s urban all white wedding with touches of black was an elegant, formal affair held at the Soho 63 ballroom in Chandler, Arizona. Their all white wedding theme reflected a classic, timeless ambience, perfectly suited to their choice of venue. The cascading all white florals, white flickering candles, and the bridal parties satin black attire made for a timeless look.
Incredible all-white floral chandelier arrangements hung from above dripping with crystals, while fragrant centerpieces filled the reception. Amazingly, McKenna’s sister of Bella Fior designed and created all of the bouquet and table florals, with floral chandeliers were designed by Every Body Love Flowers!
Photographer Monique Hessler tells us that their first look included sweet embraces, happy tears, and was concluded with a celebratory beer: “McKenna and Klayton share genuine romance, but also have so much fun, an incredible combination to witness! Happy tears were shed as McKenna and Klayton exchanged lifelong promises, and confessed their love for each other in front of their family and friends. ”
Glam, Urban All White Wedding
Our love story began on Tinder! We instantly knew the other was ‘the one’, and within 6 months of meeting we were engaged. Klay asked me to marry him in the middle of the forest on a rainy day while we had a picnic and enjoyed a bottle of wine. The rest is history.
My bouquet was perfect. I cried when my sister and maid of honor handed me my bouquet the morning of the wedding. She did a phenomenal job on the floral arrangements. I wanted my bouquet to be cascading, similar to a Princess Diana’s wedding bouquet.

The bridesmaids wore black, satin, floor length gowns that were adorned with pearls. Their bouquets were kept simple with white roses and greenery.
I wore a satin ballgown with a crystal belt and a long train. My makeup artist was an absolute dream! I wanted to look sexy, but bridal and I absolutely felt that way with my hair and makeup.
My groom wore a black tuxedo with a black bow tie and luxurious white hanky. He had a white spray rose boutonniere and a watch that I had given him as a wedding gift.
The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with white bow ties. All of them had on ASU socks. The groom, and all of him groomsmens are huge ASU fans, so it seemed fitting that they had they sported their favorite team.
Their all white wedding reception was lit with twinkling lights overhead, candles along the aisle and a roaring fireplace illuminating the terrace during their breathtaking evening ceremony.
I walked down the aisle to Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding, performed by our String Duo.
We opted for a wine ceremony. We had a wine box engraved with our wedding date and our first dance song. In the box we placed a bottle of wine and two love letters. We plan on opening the box on our anniversary and replenishing it with a new bottle of wine and new letters for an anniversary tradition.
Our cocktail hour was a fun way of having our guests get to know our relationship better as we had a Q and A about us on our cocktail napkins. It was a fun, corky touch that our guests enjoyed, while also learning some fun things about our relationship.
For our table numbers we listed locations we have traveled together with the stories of our adventures at each. Instead of a guest book we opted for a more personalized wishing tree. Our guests wrote down their wishes and hung them on a gorgeous manzanita tree that was covered in white roses and hydrangeas.
