Strong geometric shapes and clean lines are two key elements that make the current Scandinavian-inspired design trend so popular. Combine that with two of Pantone’s biggest colors for 2016 and you’ve got a modern, chic, somewhat whimsical wedding inspiration shoot that is perfectly on trend!
Cape Town based photographer, Linda Fourie, teamed up with stylist and planner Marinda Potgieter to create the geometric scene: “We wanted to use Pantone’s Rose Quartz and Serenity with a clean lines, reminiscent of the popular Scandinavian design trend. We used flowers with bold colours and models that continued the minimalist theme with natural hair and make-up.”
The shoot was held at Die Woud, the perfect setting for the winter session on a rainy day. The huge, greenhouse-style structure made almost completely of open windows looking into the forest allowed for an outdoor experience while remaining dry during the downpour!
