Garden Roses & Rustic Succulents ♥
The lovely Kristen and Jeremy were married in Flowery Branch, Georgia, at Sterling on the Lake. Their romantic, rustic country-style wedding, overflowing with blooms in shades of pink and blush, with a touch of navy, was captured by husband and wife photography duo, Meet The Burks. Inspired by their own personal style, and the beauty of the venue, Kristen worked with Design House of Flowers to craft a day filled with peach and cream garden roses, succulents and lots of rustic greenery. The results? Heavenly!
From the bride:
We knew going into it that we did not want a big wedding. We are both really big family people so for us the day was about sharing it with them and having fun. Having a day that everyone would not forget was what we were looking for. Our big day was amazing.

Rustic Country Wedding in Blush & Navy
Love Story: We met online. Our first date was over three hours long and the rest is history! One special evening, while at my parent’s home, he got on one knee to propose. It was so sweet that I just started to cry. It was perfect.
Bride’s Look: As I am a hairstylist I always knew that I wanted my hair up and away from my face, with simple makeup. My dress was a Vera Wang gown with a rough edge, the perfect fit to my rustic country style. Strapless, fit and flare, simple.
Floral Choices: I was going for that garden country look. I love the big garden roses and succulents to give it a lot of texture. The bridesmaids’ bouquets were similar in style to mine, with more white and greenery. The groomsmen had greens and pods.
Wedding Ceremony Details: We walked down the aisle to a single called Cinema. We were married in front of a large stone fireplace and the mantel had a huge box filled with greenery and flowers to give it that perfect but simple look.
Wedding Reception Details: Our reception was held at a beautiful country club house with garden style flowers everywhere. We had each table different with the flowers. My florist did a great job on all the details.
Wedding Playlist: A song that is very special to us, the song of the night, was Learning to Fly. Both of my parents are sick so the song had a big meaning to us as a family. It was the song that myself and my step dad danced to.
Stand Out Vendors: I had the best vendors, but I would say my florist, photographers and caterer did an amazing job. Each of them in a different way made me feel like I had know them for ever and treated me like family. I never felt like it was jut a job for them. All of them were there in anyway they could be to help me and took the time to get to know me and what I wanted.
