♥ Beautiful Boudoir ♥
Monique’s ethereal boudoir shoot is such a beautiful example of how tasteful and truly romantic boudoir photography can be. Working with the talented team at Lightburst Photography, the shoot featured soft hues of pink inspired Monique’s wedding day. The inspiration for the shoot’s styling was a minimal, fresh palette with accents of soft colour. “We created a scene of fantasy and delicate romance while keeping things simple and fresh,” says Monique. “We wanted makeup, hair, accessories and attire to enhance the look, not over power it.”
“The mood was one of soft elegance, featuring a beautifully floral draped chair by Laiken from Sitting in a Tree, ” shares Lightburst Photography. “Peonies and roses were incorporated, also Monique’s flowers of choice for her wedding day. The extremely long Pronovias veil looked gorgeous with her elegant lingerie and soft curls. Monique is a woman with such natural beauty. She is truly as beautiful in on the inside as she is on the outside.”

Love Story: We met at a mutual friends’ 21st birthday celebration six years ago. We chatted for a couple of months before going on our first date. One date led to another and until Byron stole my heart. Before I knew it we were two peas in a pod. I feel like I’ve only ever had eyes for Byron.
Proposal: Byron took me to Cape Town to celebrate his 25th birthday. The morning of his birthday we went for a walk to watch the sunrise on the beach, where he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife.
