DIY BABY’S BREATH BOUTONNIERE
MATERIALS:
- 3 tiny pieces of baby’s breath (this is only about ¼ of 1 stem of baby’s breath)
- 1 or 2 pieces of dusty miller (this is also only a fraction of 1 stem of dusty miller)
- 1 piece of fern (or any kind of similar greenery)
- floral tape
- lace (or hemp)
- boutonniere pins
- scissors
Easy DIY Baby’s Breath Boutonniere Tutorial
Instructions:
Step 1: Prune your little pieces of baby’s breath and greenery so that there is more than 1 inch of stem to work with.
Step 2: Bunch together the few pieces of baby’s breath and wrap stems together with the floral tape to create your Baby’s Breath Boutonniere.
Step 3: Add the dusty miller stems against the back of the baby’s breath and wrap the new bundle with floral tape. Add the fern and wrap the bundle again.
Step 4: Trim the bottom of the fully wrapped bundle so that the bottom is even.
Step 5: Covering the tape with lace, starting from the bottom.
Step 6: Secure the lace in place with 1 or 2 pins.
