This modern indoor wedding, inspired by Pantone’s 2018 Color of the Year (Ultra Violet), is dripping with gorgeous geode deets, romantic touches and boho wedding vibes. Flat, brassy gold wedding elements bring in an elegant feel, while the pops of purple and lush greenery give the space a modern splash of color. Romantic Violet + Gold Wedding Ideas
Sarah Goff Photography worked with Marcella Camille Events who incorporated a hand-made macramé piece over the sweetheart table from Harvest Table Company to frame their bride and groom. Bold and messy florals in purples and peach were created by Atmosphere Florals to give the space to create texture. Laurel Calligraphy designed the classic romantic invitation suite and the fun drip cake was designed by La Momo Maes Bakery.
The ceremony site was created using candles, floral wreaths, and rental farm chairs from Robin Event Rentals. The modern romance of Brookside Garden’s interior space is filled with historic beauty, seen in it’s chandeliers, brick walls, milk glass windows and gorgeous almost floor to ceiling windows revealing the gardens.
“Dreaming up a vision like this always needs a few DIY projects,” says Marcella Camille Events. “We incorporated a gold metallic PVC pipe arbor for the ceremony site and amethyst coasters with vinyl designed calligraphy as escort cards for the sweetheart table. The goal was to bring in a vintage modern rustic feel with significant pops of gold and hues of purple and a boho twist. Incorporating amethysts was a must!”
What resulted is pure purple magic!

Violet weddings are great, but this one is amazing! They look gorgeous, but also the details, the table, the way everything is decorated… We had a ‘purple’ bride who liked the color so much she did something like this, but not as much! Congratulations to all the professionals that did it possible!
