Vibrant, Romantic Tropical Wedding Inspiration ♥
Vibrant, romantic, whimsical – today’s tropical wedding ideas are simple gorgeous! Shot by the amazingly talented photographer, Debbie Lourens, as part of her recent exclusive photography workshop, the scene is a festive celebration of colour and detail.
Paramithi Flowers created a fabulous, yet chic fiesta of flower art. Let’s start with the bouquet made from a cascade of bright blue hydrangea, yellow lilies, ferns, tulips, roses, queen annes lace, billies balls, protea and beautiful blooms! Or perhaps the brightly coloured Carmen Miranda-style tropical flower crown which just screams tropical bride. Oh tutti frutti cutie!
Of course the gorgeous tropical wedding flower decor doesn’t end there – gold painted pineapples, suspended tropical floral arrangements of bright yellow tulips, ferns, lilies, berries, roses, red ranunculus – you get the pretty picture! The creative floral decor even included arrangements included coconut and pineapple vases.
Pretty in Stains designed the totally fab mint, green and pink tropical wedding invites with beautiful ferns and flamingos. We adore the hand painted, watercolor wedding style, which is so popular right now. “You had me at ‘Aloha‘” Seriously?! LOVE. Pretty in stains also included sweet Hawaiian tropical wedding wording in the stationery suite: Aloha aku no, aloha mai no. “I give my love to you, you give your love to me.”
The cute LOVE table is from Blank Canvas Events.
La petite patisserie designed the hand-painted “Aloha” biscuit wedding favors for in shades of pastel mint. She also created the soft pink tropical watercolor wedding cake with touches of gold – and a hibiscus flower topper, of course!
“Weddings are synonymous with celebrations, fun and festivities. With the tropical inspired shoot we wanted to incorporate as many fun colourful elements we could,” shares the team. “We aimed for flamboyance and used various luxurious floral elements set off by quirky spray painted pineapples. The stationary was also perfectly designed to tie in with the colourful opulent theme. When we think of this shoot we think Fiestas and champagne!”
The beautiful, flowing, strapless wedding dress with subtle lace detailing on the bodice was designed by Janita Toerien, makeup and hair styled by Marnel Toerien. Swoon!
