Delicate Lace, Ruffles and Fab Flowing Fabrics ♥
Today’s stunning fashion editorial, captured by the talented Rebecca Hollis, is set in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana. The debut shoot for Velvet Bride, which opened it’s doors in February of this year, features a selection of exquisite gowns from designers Sarah Seven and Rosa Clara set against the backdrop of the vast, open wilderness in winter. The entire crisp, organic shoot is spectacular, and I am particularly in love with the striking images captured in the snow featuring the Soft Collection by Rosa Clara.
The vintage inspired designs by Sarah Seven are filled with intricate arrangement of blossoming ruffles, delicate fabrics, and flowing layers. Using natural fabrics, silk, linens, and cotton voiles, Sarah create her majestic gowns in-house at her California atelier.
Owner, Lauren Snyder, shares her inspiration behind the shoot: “In Velvet Bride’s debut photoshoot, I wanted to express the imagery that fits in with what our shop, gowns, style, and brides are all about. I was drawn to looks that define a simple timelessness with a bit of edge, but still accessible and romantic. With a touch of bohemian yet rustic to highlight the gorgeous Montana backdrop. I was inspired to express an organic, modern, and clean feel by highlighting light-as-air gowns and real women. Our brides are sophisticated, whimsical, and effortlessly beautiful and this shoot captured this essence.”
Totally stunning, right. Rebecca Hollis is amazing! You can check out more of Sarah Seven’s work here, and browse the entire range of gowns available at Velvet Bride here.

Such pretty images. I’m always drawn to bridal images in the snow. Lovin’ the one with snow flakes in the bride model’s hair. So pretty!

That one’s precisely my fave too. She really reminds me of Snow White!
