Country Ruffles, Burlap and Lace
This rustic country outdoors shoot styled by Fairy Godmother at the Kern County Museum is a burlap, lace and ruffle wedding extravaganza. The creative collaboration between Ashley dePencier Photography and local Californian wedding vendors resulted in vintage-chic display of romance and ruffles, complete with succulent details and peach accents. Plus, wait till you see the swoonworthy cake!
Rustic Country Style Bouquet: The team at White Oaks Florists created a number of floral displays in pastel hues of peach, pink and yellow. The beautiful bouquet included hardy succulents which contrasted wonderfully against the soft rose petals, all wrapped up with rustic burlap ribbon.
Romantic Country Bridal Look: Hair and make up artist Madison Judkins styled Brooke’s lovely locks into a sweet twisted chignon, topped with a vintage birdcage veil from Mary Rita Nommenson. Her make up was soft and subtle with a coral lip and smoky eyes.
Caleb wore a beige suit from Mr Tuxedo with matching bowtie, and with peach suspenders to add a pop of colour.
Burlap and Lace Stationery: Matinae Design Studio created a set of rustic paper goods in a palette of pink and blue, adding touches of burlap, lace and ribbon in matching shades.
The sweetheart bridal table was set with clear glass beaded charger plates beneath pastel blue cotton napkins atop a burlap table runner. The table was wrapped in a gorgeous shabby chic pale peach and cream fabric garland and adorned with a scattered arrangement of pastel blooms in tall stemmed vases of varying heights.
The cake and candy stand was decorated with paper bunting which had been affixed with colourful ribbon streamers. An assortment of vintage bric-a-brac added character to the display which included a stack of old books, a succulent display and a lovely rustic hand lettered sign. The focal point of the display was fabulously frilly ruffled wedding cake, created by Cassandra Patrick’s Sweet Treats.
