{Gold, Green & White Glamour}
A glamorous mixture of grand golds, deep emerald greens and touches of pure white resulted in a natural wedding theme with a modern twist for this beautiful wedding of lovebirds, Jessica and Nick.
Having dreamt of getting married in Vail, Colorado, United States since she was young enough to play dress up and ride a gondola; once Jessica had met Nick, she simply had to whisk him away to Vail to fall in love her…and the Vail village!
Adding to our previous Colorado wedding feature, {Real Bride} DIY Colorado Rocky Mountain Ranch Rustic Wedding, which boasted the outdoor mountainous beauty of Colorado; this wedding snapped by Chris McLaughlin Photography (cmp studios) shows off the rich hues of their unusual colour scheme with the Vail Valley as it’s backdrop. And boy, does Jessica make an exquisite bride!

Gold, Green & White Wedding Look
(Above) For her wedding look, Jessica combined a neutral Vera Wang “Gemma” gown creation with gorgeous peep-toe Jimmy Choo heels. Her mermaid-style wedding gown with hints of shimmering sequins added to an ethereal mix of organza and French tulle makes this the perfect glamorous dress.
(Above ) Designed by Pocket Full of Posies, cream roses formed the main floral component of Jessica’s wedding bouquet. Pretty jeweled diamante flowers were incorporated as a sparkling addition amongst the flowers and used to secure the base of her bouquet.
Nick wore a classic black tuxedo with a charming bow tie.

Their wedding ceremony was held at the beautiful Vail Interfaith Chapel.

Gold, Green & White Wedding Reception
Held at the The Sonnenalp Resort, their wedding reception was an evening affair.
(Above) Created by Bernie Oswald from the Sonnenalp Resort, their wedding cake was a 7-tiered masterpiece painted with gold designs and adorned with luscious cream roses.
(Above) Place Settings: Place setting cards were presented on a bed of greenery upon a gold tray.
(Above) Guest book: The couple chose these colorful Colorado postcards for their guests to leave messages and well-wishes on before popping them into a mailing tin.
(Above) Diamante adorned candles printed with the couple’s names and wedding details on them formed part of the table decor.
(Above) Tall floral table centrepieces were surrounded by white candles, which were later lit to create a romantic atmosphere.
(Above) Table Numbers: Striking gold and green cardstock table numbers were displayed on each table.
(Above) Floating candles were lit in glass vases filled with sand and green leaves.
(Above) Thank You: For each place setting, a customised paper placemat was created with a Thank-You message from the couples to their guests.
Emerald green and gold worked wonderfully together to add richness and class to Jessica and Nick’s special day. We wish them a long and happy marriage filled with many more riches and thank them for sharing moments of their wedding day with us!
