Bayside Wedding Style by Lindsay Lauren Events ♥
Today’s elegant gray and blue nautical wedding inspiration by Lindsay Lauren Events and Rachel Capil Photography at The Lighthouse in Glen Cove Marina, is Cape Cod inspired with a hint of modern romance. Instead of the bold navy blue and white lines typically associated with a nautical theme, the team chose to work with softer, muted of hues of gray and blue, complementing the marina.
By incorporating a variety of textures including birchwood, mirrors, sand, and sequin linens from Napa Valley Linens, they created a classic, elegant atmosphere of romance. The mood was perfectly accented by lush fresh greenery and white blooms from Angel’s Petals and handwritten menus from Steele my Heart. The lovely bride looked effortless gorgeous in a Olia Zavozina gown from Kinsley James, a braid styled by Nicole Smith, and Makeup by Adele. With so many delightful touches, from an oyster and champagne bar, to anchor shaped chocolate favors by Something Sweet Chocolates, wedding cake from A Spoonful of Sugar Cakes, birchwood place cards, and a boat courtesy of Finally Enough Charters, we’re sure you’re going to be suitably inspired for a bayside soiree of your own!

From Lindsay and the team:
“A 1910 historic Lighthouse was perfect in designing a nautical inspired stylized wedding shoot. The venue itself has rich history; the landmark building was brought over by boat in 1955 and has since has been renovated and updated to be used for weddings and events. With inspiration of Cape Cod, we used this Bay Area venue to enhance the natural beauty of the marina, showcasing a romantic classic wedding. We enriched this waterfront setting by using a variety of earthy and ocean-inspired color tones and rich textures throughout the design of this wedding – from the birch wood place cards, burlap trunks, and white washed chairs, to the lush monochromatic flowers – it was nothing short of a seaside oasis.
Our ceremony took place outdoors on the lawn with an aisle adorned by various sized lanterns, candles, and flower petals. Between the floral enhanced arch and the boats along the dock, it was a romantic intimate setting for our bride and groom.
The wrap around deck at The Lighthouse, with the gorgeous backdrop of boats and the marina, served as a perfect location for cocktail hour and lounges…. And an Oysters & Bubbly bar, of course!
The groom’s dapper gray suit and bowtie complimented the bride in her gorgeous Olia Zavozina gown from Kinsley James. Adele, of Makeeup by Adele , said she kept the bride’s makeup romantic with bright and dewy skin, a soft, pretty cat eye and nude-pink lips.”
What a gorgeous take on nautical nuptials. Thank you so much to all of the vendors that created this romantic inspirational shoot at the Glen Cove Marina!

Colours worked really well. Big fan of when couples take a more subtle approach.
