Filled with pink peonies, blush hydrangea, soft cream roses and babys breath, a gorgeous tulle Enzoani gown, a darling couple, cute mix and match bridesmaids dresses and super romantic decor, it’s all the things dreams are made of!
D’amor Photography left no detail unphotographed, and you can just feel the love oozing between this pair of love birds when looking at these dreamy pics! We’re obsessed!
“Our special day exceeded all my wildest expectations and dreams,” says Ane. “As a girl I used my monthly pocket money to buy bridal magazines, and kept them all. When we got engaged and I realized we only had five months to plan the wedding, I pulled out all of those magazines and was thrilled to see how the same styles had always appealed to me over the years. I knew what type of atmosphere I wanted to create: one that radiated with the love we had for each other, those closest to us, and for God. It would be a relaxed atmosphere, filled with happiness, personal and cozy. In the end it was this love, along with the help and support of our parents and those closest to us that made our special day nothing short of magical!”

Love Story: We met in high school and began dating in grade nine. We decided to tie the knot on October 4th, 2014, our seventh year together.
Planning Time: About six months
Bridal Style: I didnt have a specific picture in mind before hand, but just knew that when I tried the right dress on I’d feel it. And that’s exactly what happened. I fell in love with an Enzani gown purchased from Bridal Wardrobe made from the softest tulle fabric. It was send via international priority mail, arriving two weeks before my wedding! My friend Marike styled my hair perfectly, and I was also so happy with my make-up, beautifully done by Lee-Anne. A friend created our bouquets, which took my breath away! I wanted dreamy, soft, pink blooms and that is precisely what he gave me: orchids, pink roses, hydrangea, pink peonies and babys breath!
Wedding Ceremony: Despite the unpleasant weather outside the church at the time of the ceremony, I’ll never forget the warmth upon stepping inside. We received a wonderful message and it was so special. I walked down the aisle to the Wedding March, and the entire church was decorated with bunches of baby’s breath suspended from the ceiling.
Wedding Seating Plan: We printed the seating plan on stickers affixed to wine bottles filled with roses.
Advice for brides:
- Always keep the end goal in sight during the planning process – the fact that you love each other and want to spend the rest of your lives together. Don’t get distracted by the small stuff.
- Try to have a relaxed attitude about things and enjoy the process. It’s not worth making a mountain from a molehill!
- To keep costs down shop around, get comparative pricing and DIY!
