Karen from The Mixing Bowl Cake Company created a dramatic, four-tiered wedding cake in black, framed with Dendrobium orchids and delphiniums. Beautifully bold, dark stationary designed by Anika from Blooming Wonderful featured florals in a palette of blush, neutrals and black.
The team continued the juxtaposition of dark with light by featuring a romantic, billowing nude blush dress designed by Cindy Bam Couture. The model wears a dramatic shade of burgundy on her lip, with a Cafe au Lait rose in her hair, styled by Helga Strydom from Helgabridal.
Jo-Ann & Jarred Stokes from Jo Stokes Photography infused even more drama with the creative use of drone photography and smoke machines. Die Woud was the perfect back-drop for this modern minimalist wedding – it’s airy, whimsical and romantic. Quite literally a ‘glass box’ venue in a forest!
