Newly engaged as of March 2013, Arath and Catrina chose to celebrate their engagement with a 1930s Retro Themed Engagement Shoot at the Lakewood Heritage Center in Colorado, US.

Starring the couple who are expecting a new baby (yahay!) and their daughter, Chynah who brought along her antique camera to add a dash of retro flavour to the shoot!

Catrina & Arath tell us: First and foremost, the couple sweetly reveal that they are inseparable friends and truly love being in each other’s lives. Having know each other for 5 years now, they share heart and soul, treasuring each other and all of their blessings. Arath and Catrina wanted a vintage themed engagement shoot to go with their vintage inspired wedding!

“We find ourselves naturally drawn to the 1930s and 1940s, not only because it was an era of simplicity and innocent romance, but also because we feel we have been there before,” shares Arath and Catrina.

Fostering an unwavering belief in everlasting love and destiny, the couple are true romantics. Their appreciation of the mesmerising charisma and romantic idealism that vintage eras of yesteryear hold, is delightfully reflected in their unique engagement shoot.
