Bridal Wear

The key to this bridal look is elegance with a dash of fun! Wearing a stunning strapless wedding gown from Crystals and Creme that looks like so much fun to wear, the bride is able to move easily in her dress that has a large flower detail in the waist and a flared netted edging. The bridal bouquet is an unconventional amazement of yellow flowers, white hydrangeas and purple proteas, some of which were sprayed to suit the colourful theme.

Styled by Rozanne from Moi Styling the groom’s look is kept interesting, colourful and playful! Donning a classic grey Carducci suit with a white shirt is paired with a yellow and orange silk tie and matching pocket handkerchief, which compliments the yellow flowers in the brides bouquet. To personalise his style and ensure that the groom feels comfortable for his big day, personal elements such as a boutonnière, funky polka dot socks and cufflinks are added. The boutonnière is made of pieces of wheat with natural ribbon and button detail. This style is ideal for a country wedding, says Rozanne, because it is not formal yet still has elements to make it suitable for a wedding.

The bride wears her hair loose and flowing with a hippie-style head band and understated make-up for a natural and glowing look.

The wedding stationary is inspired by playful dots and circles, which are very significant, in that they represent ‘eternity’, explains Blank Canvas. The circular shape is used in all colours over the table, from the polka dots on the runner, to the circular menu, name tags, dotty seating name badges and table numbers. The colourful ‘dotfetti’ is a way of showering the couple with little dots of colour!

Wedding Décor & Flowers

The style of the wedding decor and flowers incorporates various brightly coloured vases and wine glasses for a few of the floral arrangements displayed at different levels. Instead of wine glasses, silver goblets are used for the guests to add a touch of whimsical and vintage luxury. To ensure that the beautiful flower arrangements stand out amongst the glasses and cutlery on the table, wooden pedestals are used to place them at eye level with the guests.

In addition to being a sweet treat for the wedding guests, macaroons in all colours are used to adorn the table. Matching the colourful flowers, table decor and ‘dotfetti’, they are the perfect addition to this bright, fun and colour rich wedding theme!
