Heavenly headpieces are here! We’re so excited to be showcasing the latest Jannie Baltzer 2014 Bridal Collection of headpieces.
We have Mother Nature to thank for being Jannie’s inspiration. She attributes the source of her exquisite headdresses, headpieces and hair vines to the authentic beauty and organic shapes found in the curl of every leaf, the intricacy of a flower’s petals and the bohemian quality of a tree’s branch. Delicate, luxurious and truly luminous, her latest collection showcases beadwork that’ll make you weep!
Not to mention, the 2014 Jannie Baltzer Collection includes a range of spine-tingling ivories, antique silvers, honey golds and champagne designs. Honestly, this makes it so hard to pick just one!
Brides from abroad can access all of the headpieces and accessories from the latest Jannie Baltzer 2014 Collection from www.janniebaltzer.com, which is shipped worldwide from their Copenhagen studio. Hooray!

Exclusive Behind the Scenes
Interview With Jannie Baltzer
Scandinavian designer, Jannie Baltzer, has been a creative babe from the beginning…
Having graduated from the Scandinavian Academy of International Fashion and Design in Copenhagen and awarded and honorary prize by Her Royal Highness, Princess Benedikte, this beautiful designer has gone onto craft bridal couture headpieces and accessories for the fashion-forward bride, who craves something unique and different. And it’s no surprise that the precious creations crafted by Jannie and her design team has regularly been featured in magazines like VOGUE, Elle and Cosmopolitan.
Jannie Baltzer’s Signature Style
The Jannie Baltzer 2014 Bridal Collection draws inspiration from French Bohemianism, Art Decor movement and the fabulousness of Hollywood in the twenties. The finest French and Edwardian laces and the softest silks and chiffons are only a few of the luxurious materials handpicked for her latest collection. We asked Jannie to tell us about her signature style found in her latest collection:
Unique, delicate and beautiful handmade accessories – all made with love. I spend a lot of time talking with my brides about their wedding – style, theme, dress, hairstyle and dreams, so I can design the perfect headpiece for them. I love to design custom-pieces for my brides to make sure, that she gets the perfect piece for her Wedding Day.
The Creative Process
All hands are on deck, literally. Each design is an amalgamation of handcrafted beading and handmade flowers adorned with timeless pearls and Preciosa crystals added for that hint of sparkle. Jannie takes us through the creative process of designing one of her signature headpieces.
When designing a new collection, it all starts with the fabric. That is a very time consuming process but something, which I really love to do. This is where I get inspired and start to see the collection take form.
I always design quite a big collection and then later decide, what pieces I would like to use for the final collection. Sometimes I have a theme or a feeling in mind for a new collection, but other times the inspiration comes later in the process.
2014 Bridal Accessory Trends
Jannie reveals this season’s bridal accessory trends that have inspired the latest Jannie Blatzer 2014 Collection:
For 2014, you will see a lot of golden accessories, and I really love that. It reminds me of the Art Deco style – a period with amazing and unique designs and a time that truly inspires me. In my new collection, I work a lot with some stunning Honey Gold crystals from Preciosa. They are so beautiful, sparkly and really have this beautiful golden tone.
Advice for Selecting the Perfect Bridal Accessory
Selecting the perfect bridal accessory to complement both your gown and style is an art in itself. Jannie dishes out her expert advice for choosing the perfect wedding accessory:
I think it’s important that you look like you on your wedding day – not too much make up. With that being said, you still want to look stunning. So if you wear a very detailed dress, you might want to choose a more simple, yet elegant headpiece. But if your dress is simpler, I would choose a more dramatic headpiece that would spice up the look!
