A Cowboy-Style Barn Wedding

The couple took advantage of DIY ideas to make their day as much a representation of themselves and the life they live, which made their wedding extra special!

Country Style Barn Wedding Look
Mandy wore a lace embroidered bustier wedding gown and simple pearl jewellery accessories. Her hair was styled into an elegant updo with a long veil flowing from behind.
Country Style Barn Wedding Ceremony
Their wedding was hosted in a large wooden barn, which provided the perfect entrance for the bride and groom. The large doors of the barn was tastefully decorated with draping, wooden crates, plants and fairy lights.
(Above) Large bales of hay were set up to serve as the pews for the wedding ceremony.
(Above) To their guest’s surprise, they entered the barn on horseback after saying their “I do’s”!
(Left) Fairy lighting and candle lanterns were used as hanging decorations to create a romantic atmosphere.
Each bale of hay had a large cloth for guests to sit down on.

The Love Story: Mandy and Marc met during a trail ride and it was love at first sight for Mandy and Marc’s horse! Mandy tells us that she fell in love with Marc’s horse first!
Although it took Marc a little longer to win her heart, Mandy reveals that even though they are already married, he still proposes at least once a week!
Country Style Barn Wedding Reception
Their wedding reception was held outdoors with strings of fairy lights and an endless array of country-style props to set the scene.
(Above) The couple had a humorous seating plan sign! Several props such as a horse saddle, wooden carriage wheel, wooden crates, rope and a candle lantern was used as their wedding decor.

(Above Left) Empty jars tied with raffia were transformed into perfectly simple candle jars. (Above Right) The bride’s stepmother created their wedding cake with a rope design, cowboy boots, a cowboy belt wrapped around the base of the cake and plant detail, which matched their wedding theme perfectly.
The couple exited their wedding celebrations with the well-wishes of their loved ones and the sparkle of wedding sparklers! It is easy to see the couple’s personality and love for each other reflected in their wedding. Mandy shares that “simplicity is the key to an intimate and gorgeous wedding!”
