Blooming Baby’s Breath
Made for DIY projects, the Baby’s Breath wedding theme is an affordable, easy and PRETTY way to create an elegant and romantic ambiance for your wedding day. 2. (Above Right) From photographer SaraJane Case, these Baby’s Breath hanging decor is perfect for outdoor weddings where trees are part of the decor! {DIY Tip} Collect empty and cleaned bottles and fill them with water and small bunches of Baby’s Breath, before suspending them with twine that is tied around the neck of each bottle.

(Below Left) Style Me Pretty shares these beautiful Baby’s Breath hanging decorations photographed by Leo Patrone Photography and styled by Splendid Stems. {DIY Tip} Recreate the look by securing mini jars along a strong line or rope. Then string Baby’s Breath along the line, fill the mini jars with some water and finally, prop small roses or similar flowers in the mini jars. 4. 6. (Below Left) For your wedding stationary, try these downloadable printables such as this Vintage Burlap and Lace Wedding Invitation and Response or RSVP Card Set from Simply Extravant. Inspired by lace, this invitation and RSVP card set will compliment this theme marvellously!{DIY Tip} Purchase these invitation and RSVP printables and then print the PDF file on regular cardstock or your preferred printing paper. Then using a cutting tool such as a craft knife or X-acto, cut the printables to size. Adorn your lovely cards with pretty ribbon or lace and you’re done! Get the DIY here.
7. Then tie a beautiful bow and add in a few stems of flowers to garnish, before attaching to your wedding chairs. Something suitable can be placed inside each barrel in order to add height to the flowers. 10. (Below Right) As seen on One Fab Day, photographed by Madalina Lesan via United with Love, enjoy this lovely Baby’s Breath Bouquet. {DIY Tip} Stems of these flowers can be gathered together and secured with elastic bands or string, with the ends neatly trimmed away, leaving a beautiful bush of Baby’s Breath on top of the bouquet. To keep the bouquet together, twine or strings of burlap can be strung around the base of the bouquet and a bow tied to end off.

Secure the stems with an elastic band or similar. Wound twine or burlap string around the stems of the flowers to complete the look. 15. Secure the bouquet first with string or elastic bands, before covering it with lace, ribbon, twine or burlap. 16. (Below) The pretty amazing Elizabeth Anne Designs shares this glorious seating cards or place setting idea for the Baby’s Breath theme. Captured by Beaux Arts Photographie, this idea fitted perfectly in the outdoor surrounds and white decor. {DIY Tip} Place seating cards or place setting cards in old or vintage wooden drawers that are filled with Baby’s Breath.
17. These delightful Baby’s Breath Tin Can Streamers is another easy DIY idea for hanging wedding decor. {DIY Tip} Created by Jesi Haack and snapped by Studio EMP, all you need are empty and clean tin cans, which can be filled with small bouquets of Baby’s Breath and then secured to metal chains that are hung up. These tin cans can also be wrapped in burlap, lace and tied with twine.
