Make a Date with Alice In Wonderland

Although sold out from BHLDN, find something similar here. {DIY Tip} Purchase heart-shaped balloons and create your own cascade of tissue paper frill using alternating colors of paper that are cut into strips and secured on a string connected to the balloon.

2. Create more floating decor like these floating playing cards from About.com Kids’ Parties & Celebrations.
{DIY Tip} Using full-sized playing cards, pierce a tiny hole in the top part of each card and string transparent fishing gut or similar so that it can be hung from different heights and at different angles. {Andrea Carlyle via In Good Company. }

Stacked Teapot Centerpiece: Created by Garden Whimsies by Mary, a whimsical Alice In Wonderland centerpiece idea or dessert stand is great for displaying your yummy treats on for your guests to enjoy or to add flowers to decorate them. Create your own by granting old crockery found at home or at local thrift stores a new lease on life. {DIY Tip} Glue crockery and other vintage dishware treasures together using a permanent and water-proof adhesive.

14. Ooh, we love this dainty heart-shaped paper confetti hand-stamped into hearts from a vintage edition of Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass! From Literary Emporium, this confetti is perfect for a vintage-themed wedding or can be used as table decoration for a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. Packaged in brown envelopes, pass them along to your guests to sprinkle over you as you leave the wedding ceremony. {DIY Tip} Using a heart-shaped stamp, create the confetti from an old or unwanted copy or photo-copied pages of the famous story. Seal the confetti in brown paper envelopes that has a well-known scene from the Alice in Wonderland book printed on it.

(Below Right) Heart-shaped biscuits with strawberry jam can also be made and served to the delight of your wedding guests. {DIY Tip} Using a heart-shaped cookie-cutter on bread, create heart-shaped savoury sandwiches that are filled with a layer of ham and tomato jam or similar alternatives. For the biscuits, bake plain round cookies and cookies with heart-shaped centres, which can later be layered on top of one another, filled with jam and dusted with icing sugar.

19. {Below} This lovely table centrepiece using beautiful teacups stacked upon one another and a rich fresh rose propped in them is one of the easiest ways to achieve the tea-time effect. {DIY Tip} Mix and match vintage books wrapped together with lace, china teacups and saucers and decorate with strings of pearls and flowers such as these roses in contrasting colors to your china.
